I enjoyed my book but while my fiance was reading he kept saying this book has a lot of church references. While I noticed mine had maybe two or three in the beginning, he kept bringing this up, so i took his book and skimmed through it and there were just a ton of references. This would have been fine for me, but my Fiance is non religious and just couldn't relate to the many references of talking to god and what not and started to not take the book seriously. If I had known that this book was going to put such an emphasis on religion I would have not purchased it. My wife and I were not connecting as much as we use to. I had her take the test and learned her love language. I wanted to understand more about how to connect with her and this book was the key! The Five Love Languages for Men was written perfectly for a husband looking to connect with his partner. The reason I like this book is because each love language has it's own chapter. This made it easy to go straight to my wife's love language and learn how to connect with her. I also like this book because it is easy to understand. Some of the actions that must be done to fill your wife's love tank can be hard, but this book tells you how to fill your wife's love tank and gives you hope.
