FASA has not forgotten them, Doctor Davenport especially, and the world crisis has only gotten worse. The zombies refuse to perform consistently, weapons and equipment are a constant concern, and nothing seems to work out the way our heroes intend.

Marv, JD, Brick, Chip, and the rest of the crew struggle with life's difficulties and the ebb and flow of a war for survival, while on the other side of the battlefront Doctor Davenport plots and plans.
